STEP 2 - Korak u bolju školu
Projekt STEP 2 provodi Škola za cestovni promet iz Zagreba.
Cilj projekta jasno je naznačen u njegovu nazivu: korak u bolju školu (Step Towards the Educational Prosperity).
Naš je cilj stvoriti sigurno i pozitivno okruženje za učenje, rast i razvoj učenika, poticajno okruženje za rad nastavnika i svih djelatnika te veću motiviranost i zadovoljstvo učenika i nastavnika u svakodnevnom radu. Kreativnost i inovativnost je bit učenja i poučavanja. Želimo da naša škola bude centar izvrsnosti u kojem se poučava i uči najsuvremenijim metodama i alatima koji doprinose stjecanju ključnih kompetencija potrebnih modernom gospodarstvu i europskom tržištu te promicanju izvrsnosti, privlačnosti i uključivosti strukovnog obrazovanja i osposobljavanja. Ovaj projekt čini nastavak procesa usmjerenih promjenama koje su započele 2011. godine uključivanjem u aktivnosti Programa za cjeloživotno učenje.
U projektu će sudjelovati devet nastavnika, članice stručno-pedagoške službe (defektologinja, školska psihologinja) i ravnateljica.
Hospitirajući na nastavi kod svojih europskih kolega (job shadowing) te na strukturiranim tečajevima koji uključuju poučavanje i učenje kreativnim nastavnim tehnikama i metodama te studijske posjete školama i drugim obrazovnim ustanovama, nastavnici i osoblje će steći kompetencije koje će povećati kvalitetu njihova poučavanja i učenja, a kod učenika doprinijeti povećanju motivacije za učenje, razvoju ključnih kompetencija za cjeloživotno učenje i boljim postignućima. Stručno usavršavanje školskog osoblja bit će usmjereno na razvijanje partnerskog odnosa roditelja i škole te istraživanje kreativnih metoda formativnog vrednovanja s naglaskom na vrednovanju za učenje i vrednovanju kao procesu učenja.
Učenje u multikulturalnom okruženju omogućit će povećanje osobnih, stručnih i jezičnih kompetencija i profesionalni razvoj nastavnika i osoblja te povećati razumijevanje drugih kultura i osjećaj pripadnosti europskom građanskom identitetu. Projektne aktivnosti omogućit će stvaranje novih kontakata u svrhu uspostavljanja i provedbe budućih partnerstava. Osim toga, povećat će kompetencije školskog menadžmenta za upravljanje i vođenje te nastavak pozitivnih promjena u smjeru modernizacije i internacionalizacije ustanove, u skladu sa školskim Razvojnim planom i Strategijom internacionalizacije.

Project STEP is carried out by Road Traffic School Zagreb.
The aim of the project is clearly indicated in its name: Step Towards the Educational Prosperity.
Our goal is to create a safe and positive environment for learning , growth and development of students, a stimulating working environment for teachers and all the staff as well as the higher motivation and satisfaction of students and teachers in everyday work.
Creativity and innovation are the essence of teaching and learning. We want our school to be a centre of excellence in which the latest methods and tools are being used for teaching and learning, contributing to the acquisition of key competences necessary for a modern economy and the European labour market and to the promotion of excellence, attractiveness and inclusiveness of vocational education and training. This project is the continuation of change driven processes, which started in 2011. through the activities of the Lifelong learning programme
The project will engage nine teachers of general-education subjects, members of Pedagogical Education Department (special education teacher, school psychologist) and School Management (headmistress).
Attending the school classes of their European colleagues (job shadowing), in structured courses that include teaching and learning using creative teaching techniques and methods, as well as study visits to schools and other educational institutions, teachers and the staff will acquire skills that will increase the quality of teaching and learning, and as for the students it will increase motivation for learning, the development of key competences for lifelong learning and better achievements. Professional development of school staff will focus on the development of partnership relations between parents and school and exploration of creative methods of formative evaluation with emphasis on the evaluation of learning and evaluation as a learning process.
Learning in a multicultural environment will increase the personal, professional and language skills, professional development of teachers and staff, as well as better understanding of other cultures and a sense of belonging to the European civil entity.
Project activities will enable the creation of new contacts in order to establish and implement future partnerships. In addition, it will increase school management and administration skills and lead to positive change in direction of modernization and internationalization of the institution, in accordance with the school Development plan and Strategy of internationalization.
